As Employee Ownership Month comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an incredible year of growth, teamwork, and community at Tates Rents. From expanding into new markets to giving back through community partnerships, this year truly embodies what it means to be employee-owned in Idaho.
2025 has been a milestone period for Tates Rents. We officially opened our brand-new Caldwell store, built from the ground up to better serve the western Treasure Valley and Canyon County with capabilities to even serve Eastern Oregon. Not long after, we expanded further north with the acquisition of Prairie Rental Center in Grangeville, now proudly operating as Tates Rents – Grangeville.
These two stores mark major steps forward in our mission to serve more of Idaho with the same commitment to quality, safety, and service that has defined us since 1946.
And the excitement doesn’t stop there — construction has officially begun on our Twin Falls location! Ground broke this October, with plans to open in spring 2026. This new store represents our furthest reach into southern Idaho and showcases our continued investment in the state we call home.
One of the highlights of this year was our co-branded forklift wrap with Jesse Tree, a local nonprofit dedicated to preventing homelessness in the Treasure Valley. This project not only raised awareness for an important cause but also reflected the heart of who we are — employee-owners committed to helping our neighbors and strengthening our community. A percentage of rentals from this asset will be dedicated to Jesse Tree’s mission.
