Contributions and Community Involvement Guidelines  

Since 1946, Tates Rents and Tates Tents & Events have contributed millions of dollars to worthy causes. We are proud that we have helped thousands of philanthropic organizations in the communities we serve.

Philosophy

Tates Rents and Tates Tents & Events recognize that part of our social responsibility is what we can return to our greater community. We believe in being an active supporter in the communities in which we operate by giving our support to many philanthropic entities throughout the Treasure Valley. We encourage our associates to be involved in their own local community efforts through various volunteer activities.

Support

Tates Rents and Tates Tents & Events are committed to helping non-profit and philanthropic entities. Tates Rents and Tates Tents & Events will offer a discount based on the request occurring during on or off-peak hours and the advanced notice we receive. After reading these guidelines carefully, please use the Online Application to request a discount for your charitable cause.

Please read these guidelines carefully. Apply at least 30 DAYS PRIOR TO EVENT to earn the maximum discount.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Your organization must be a non-profit that benefits communities where Tates Rents and/or Tates Tents & Events operates.
  • You must attach a copy of your ST 101 form with your Online Application (If we have not worked with you previously, you may be asked to provide a copy of your 501(c)(3) charter to verify your non-profit status).

IMPORTANT: Discounts do not apply to any labor, delivery, or damage to equipment and customers will be responsible for full payment of said items.

Donations Exceeding Standard Discount

We strive to support organizations in which our employees and stores have direct involvement both professionally and personally. Requests for discounts in excess of our standard discount are considered quarterly by the company and are fulfilled on a limited basis, due to the high number of requests we receive.
